A little about me
The face behind Joyce Beauty Makeup Artistry
Hi, I'm Joyce, a Perth-based makeup artist with a love for soft glam, beautiful details, and helping women feel like the best version of themselves.
For me, makeup has never been about changing who you are. It's about bringing out what's already beautiful in you: fresh, glowing skin, softly defined eyes, and a polished look that still feels like you.
Before finding my way back to beauty here in Perth, I spent 18 wonderful, busy years in Dubai, building a career in the world of luxury brands, including Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier. Makeup was always something I loved, and I spent around five years doing glam makeup for photography.
In my chair there's no pressure and no fuss, and you don't need to know anything about makeup. Bring a full Pinterest board, or simply tell me, "Joyce, just make me look fresh and pretty." We'll work together to create a look you'll love.
It's not just about how you look when you leave my chair. It's about how you feel.

Good to know
Do you travel to me?
For an individual booking you come to me, at my studio in Cannington; if you would rather I come to you, a travel fee applies. For three or more people I come to your home, hotel or venue, and the travel fee is added to your quote.
Do I need a trial?
For weddings, yes. The trial is where we settle the look, test how it wears and time the morning. It is included in every bridal booking.
How long does it take?
Allow 45 minutes to an hour for each person, and a little longer for the bride: an hour and a half to two hours. Once I know how many people are booked, I build a timeline for the morning so nobody feels rushed.
How do I secure my date?
A 50% deposit on the whole package holds the date, and the balance is due once the makeup is done. The details are in my booking terms when you book with me.
I have sensitive skin or allergies.
Tell me when you enquire. I plan the products around it, and we can patch test at your trial.
Can you do my bridal party too?
Yes. Tell me how many faces when you enquire. Larger groups start earlier, so everyone is ready in good time.
Can you stay on after the makeup, through the ceremony and reception?
Yes. I can stay on for an additional fee per hour, and it would be my pleasure to.
What should I do before you arrive?
Come with clean, moisturised skin and no makeup, and wear a top that buttons or zips so it comes off without touching your face.
